Alberta Construction Scholarship

The 2015 Alberta Construction Scholarship presented by

Abarent Construction, a provider of basement waterproofing and foundation repair in the Edmonton area, is please to announce the Abarent ‘Alberta Construction Scholarship’.

Alberta is a booming metropolis for qualified construction and trades personnel. And Abarent is honored to support trades & construction students across Alberta by awarding 1 student with a $500 scholarship. Our scholarship program will help this student with the cost of tuition, supplies or even a much needed vacation.

Eligibility Requirements:

Eligibility is for any Alberta student currently enrolled in a course related to CONSTRUCTION or TRADES for the school year of 2015. Students within any college, university, trade or technical school within Alberta can qualify. Students must be 16 years or older at the time of enrollment. Must be a resident of Alberta. Winning participants will be required to submit a photo and short bio for promotional purposes.

The winning entry will be judged based on originality and creativity. Students must answer 3 question to apply:

  • How and why is the construction industry important to the future of Alberta?
  • How has the trades industry improved Alberta over the past 10 years?
  • As a tradesperson, how will I personally contribute to Alberta’s success?

Note: Each applicant may only submit once for consideration. Submissions can also be sent via e-mail along with; legal name, mailing address, telephone number, photo, a brief bio, and the name of the school and the course the applicant is enrolled in.
